Kongoni Camp is situated less than 2 km from Nanyuki Town northwest of Mt Kenya off the Meru road. Recently opened, Kongoni Camp has quickly gained a reputation as the place for excellent cuisine ranging from fantastic grills, vegetarian dishes, pizzas made in our traditional italian style wood fired oven to home made breads and cakes all delicately prepared using the freshest local ingredients.

The bar and restaurant are situated in the middle of a picturesque shrub landscape, surrounded with bushy cedar trees which are a home to many bird species. Both the bar and restaurant are housed in an open log cabin style building with an open porch and a huge fire place, the décor contemporary and tasteful, and not to forget a spacious fully stocked bar.

There are five traditional hut styled fully self contained cottages which are simply and tastefully furnished to give one that feeling of home. There is also plenty of space available for camping, fully serviced with showers, lighting and security. One can either bring their own camping equipment and materials or have them provided by the camp

Kongoni Camp has one of the most beautiful views of the mountain, and is a hub for trekkers climbing the Sirimon and Burguret routes as well as a great stop over for visitors on route to and from the various Game parks in the Laikipia region.
